Frequently asked questions

What is esy?

esy is an Israeli recruitment and placement agency with its own in-house development team. It was founded by Einat Shachar Yatziv, who ran HR as a senior VP at Paz Group, Tamir Fishman, Harel Insurance, and BST Group; the name esy is her initials. esy offers permanent placement, flexible team reinforcement, executive search, and managed recruitment, in which it runs a client's hiring end to end.

Which fields and roles does esy recruit for?

esy recruits in technology, finance, construction and infrastructure, healthcare, consumer, and operations. The roles it fills cover engineering, design, product, growth, finance, and operations, including discreet searches for senior and leadership positions. In technology, it specializes in AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, developer tools and infrastructure, fintech, and healthtech.

How does esy's recruitment process work?

esy first meets you to understand what the role actually needs and turns that into a profile in its system. Its AI agent, Esy, sources candidates from the web and from esy's own database, and the system scores and ranks each candidate against the role. esy's recruiters then interview the strongest candidates and present a short list with the reasoning behind each name. After the placement, esy stays in touch with both sides.

Does esy work across Israel?

Yes. esy recruits for employers in every region of Israel.

Do candidates pay anything to work with esy?

No. esy never charges candidates. The CV check on the esy site compares your CV with a job and needs no sign-up.

How do I apply, and what happens after I send my CV?

Browse the open roles on the esy site, or send your CV from the For Candidates page. With your consent, esy keeps your CV in its candidate pool and contacts you when a role that fits you opens. The system scores each CV against a role's requirements, but the score isn't a final decision, and esy's recruiters interview candidates before they present them to an employer. The CV of a candidate who wasn't placed is kept for 24 months from the last contact, unless you ask esy to remove it sooner.

Will esy send my CV to an employer without my consent?

No. esy passes your details to an employer only with your consent to that specific approach, or under a general consent that you gave in advance. It sends a candidate's details to one named client for one named role. You can withdraw your consent to esy keeping your CV at any time.
