Accessibility statement
We want this site to be usable by everyone. This page describes what we aim for, what we already do, where we know we have gaps, and how to tell us about an issue.
Our commitment
esy aims to meet the AA level of the Israeli digital accessibility standard — Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), Israeli Standard 5568 — which adopts WCAG 2.0 AA as its technical reference. The intent is for the site to be usable with keyboard alone, with screen readers, at reasonable zoom levels, and without reliance on color alone to convey information.
What we do today
The site is built mobile-first with semantic HTML — pages use <header>, <nav>, <main>, <article>, and a real heading hierarchy, so that assistive technology can navigate by landmark and by heading. All layout is based on logical CSS properties (margin-inline, padding-block), so the Hebrew right-to-left view and the English left-to-right view both flow correctly, without separate stylesheets. Focus states are visible on every interactive element. Form fields are linked to their labels. Images that carry meaning have alt text; decorative images are marked as presentational.
The contact form and the CV submission form use real form elements with explicit labels and error messages. Body type on long-form content pages is 18px in a 32em-wide column, and relative units preserve the browser's zoom setting.
Where we know we have gaps
We have not yet completed a full professional accessibility audit. This statement reflects our current self-assessment; any gap a future audit identifies will be listed here and addressed.
How to report an issue
If something on this site doesn't work for you — a control you can't reach with the keyboard, text you can't read, a form you can't submit, anything — we'd be glad to hear about it. The fastest paths are email at [email protected] or the contact form. Please include the page URL, what you were trying to do, the assistive technology and browser you were using, and the result. We'll acknowledge your message within a reasonable time and update this page when an issue is fixed.
