A leading financial institution is looking for a technology and innovation lawyer to sit at the heart of its digital activity — legal work that shapes real products, services and processes.

• Advise on ongoing technology and digital projects from day one

• Draft and negotiate technology procurement agreements, with a focus on SAAS, artificial intelligence, licensing and information security

• Work alongside IT, cyber, product and regulatory teams

• Answer legal questions on privacy, AI, data protection and cloud computing

• Write legal opinions, policy documents, procedures, position papers and internal guidelines

This is the profile that will thrive in the role.

• Licensed attorney — required

• Experience in technology, SAAS, IT or privacy

• Experience working with complex technology contracts

• Very high level of English

• Business understanding and the ability to work in a complex, dynamic environment

• Independent working ability alongside excellent teamwork

Advantage:

• Specific experience with SAAS engagements, artificial intelligence, license agreements and information security

• Experience providing legal advice on privacy, data protection and cloud computing

• Experience writing legal opinions, policy documents, procedures, position papers and internal guidelines

• Experience working with internal interfaces such as IT, cyber, product and regulation

• Experience in a financial or regulatory environment
